Terra Noble Winery
The Terra Noble Winery is one of the largest wineries in Chile, producing wines since 1993. They produce grapes in three different regions of Chile, the Maule Valley, the Casablanca Valley and the Colchagua Valley. The Reserva Carmenere we tasted was produced in the Maule Valley which is located 250km from Santiago.

The Terra Noble Reserva Camenere
We couldn’t remember where we bought this wine, we think it was from Marquee Wines on Davie Street. The Carmenere we tasted was a 2008 ($20) and the aroma was big and bold with hints of smokiness. This carried through in the taste with hints of burnt wood. The wine was a deep, dark red colour. Tara was not a big fan of this wine while Jeff really enjoyed it and finished the bottle. As with most one off bottles we try from Marquee this was another good one (in Jeff’s opinion)!
