Wine Tasting at Home
We have had a couple of opportunities to visit Nk’ Mip winery over the past few years. We blogged about the Pinot Noir back in 2013, you can read that one here (2011 Pinot Noir). We also had a chance to stay on site at the winery at Spirit Ridge Resort. The patio, food and views are spectacular, if you have a chance stay overnight and enjoy all of it.
2013 Nk’Mip Pinot Noir
Having previously tasted the 2011 Pinot Noir from Nk’Mip, we recently tasted the 2013, which we found hidden away in our wine collection. We found the 2013 to be bit heavier (not in a bad way) with a bit more spice to it then the 2011 (as we remembered it). There are still plenty of Cherry notes in this years version as well. Both versions pair well with food but also stand up to be a nice night time sipping wine! The price has jumped since 2011 ($21.99) to 2013 ($26.99), but it is still a good value in a Pinot Noir. We’re looking forward to another visit to the winery and picking up the latest Pinot from Nk’Mip.
We, Jeff & Tara Ciecko of CK Golf write two blogs, one is our 19th Hole Blog where we share personal experiences and the other an Industry Blog where we comment on general business and internet marketing best practices, sales strategies and give golf industry related opinions. We have owned CK Golf for 9 years and provide marketing, social media and business services to the golf and other industries. Our 19th Hole Blog is about the places we visit and the things we do. When we say that we like or dislike something or have a good or bad experience this is our opinion and the truth as we see it, not something we have been paid for.
