BC Wine Tasting
We picked up this Arrowleaf Bacchus when we were in the Okanagan last summer and took some time to visit a couple of wineries with some friends. Arrowleaf Cellars is a family run business owned and operated by Joe and Margrit Zuppiger and their son, Manuel Zuppiger. The Zuppigers immigrated to Canada from Switzerland in 1986. It is located near Kelowna in the town of Winfield that is part of the region known as Lake Country.

Arrowleaf Bacchus
While we are not typically white wine lovers, we have had the Bacchus from Arrowleaf before and have always enjoyed it. At $14.99 per bottle it is also a great value buy. Bacchus is a mix of Riesling, Sylvaner and Mueller-Thurgau grapes. It is very light in color, almost clear and has smells of flowers and citrus. In our opinion it is a great summer outdoor sipping wine. We once again enjoyed this bottle and look forward to having another one on a patio as summer approaches!
