Desert Hills Premium Outlets
Sorry for the delay in posting our next blog, but we’ve been “really busy” in Palm Desert the past couple of days. For example Monday we had a five hour shopping trip to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. We’ve been there before, about three years ago on our last driving trip and Tara for one has been anticipating the shopping to the 130 plus outlet stores for the last month or so.
We arrived, parked and entered the long corridor of wide open shopping space that is the Desert Hills Premium Outlets. Once we entered the main shopping area, Bass Outlets was the first store we entered. After selecting, trying on and paying for three or four items each, we thought this could be a long expensive day.
It did turn out to be a bit of long day at five hours, but not overly expensive as good deals could be had. Tara’s advance planning had us armed with a few coupons that saved additional dollars on some already great deals. At the end of our shopping adventure it was Beer O’clock and we needed it. The closest place was an Applebee’s we encountered after exiting the freeway. After a platter of Chilli Nachos and an “adult” beverage each we were ready to head back to the resort.
What will tomorrow bring?
