Free Content with Instagram
Many businesses underestimate the power that Instagram possess. Instagram is an online mobile photo-sharing, video-sharing (up to 15 seconds per post) and social networking service that enables its users to take pictures and videos, and share them on a variety of social networking platforms. Instagram helps to create content amongst Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and more. Instagram is a very popular method to reach the 18 to 35 year old demographic.
Customer’s Help Promote You
The bonus to Instagram is that the customer gets to help promote your business! Customers are promoting your company without them being fully aware. They take a picture about what they are doing or eating or seeing and share it on Instagram and amongst other platforms. Instagram allows the user to edit their photo by cropping it very easily and adding visually enhancing filters making the photo (and your product) look great.
Great, unusual or interesting photos create a buzz. These photos gets “Like’s on Instgram”, “Like’s on Facebook and “Favorite’s on Twitter. This helps create a want and an impulse to the content’s audience. It sparks an idea for someone to do immediately or in the future, all from one simple picture.
Hashtags work very well on Instagram (just like on Twitter). This simple tool can do more for your business than you think but you need to come up with a good hashtag to spread. Hashtags are Instagram’s life blood and we recommend using at least 3-5 in every post. Instagram is worth looking into. Give Instagram a try in marketing your business, it’s a free tool!
