British Columbia – The Greatest Place On Earth

We Love British Columba – For So Many Reasons
So most of you who follow us regularly know two things, one, we are transplanted Winnipegers who moved to British Columbia (Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Whistler and currently Vancouver) in 1997 almost to the day today.  Two, we are currently enjoying a holiday in Escondido, before Palm Desert and Carlsbad round out our three week California (working) vacation.  However, I saw something for the first time that made me think for about the 1000th time, British Columbia is the greatest place on earth…and I have proof!  If you are not excited to live in or visit British Columbia in 2010 we challenge you to try it…and watch these videos.

The People, Culture, Landscape and well just about everything

The Golf…see for yourself!

We are enjoying our first few days in California and being away is nice to recharge the batteries, at the conclusion of our trip we will arrive home a few days before Vancouver, British Columbia puts on the greatest show the World has ever seen! We look forward to being a part of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games – bring it on, the greatest place on earth awaits!

One Response to British Columbia – The Greatest Place On Earth

I was born and raised in B.C. If you've got a lot of money and are into living a life of self-indulgance then B.C. has it all. However, what ruins it for me is that I see all the needles and meanspirited social policies that result in people suffering greatly right in our own back yard. You don't throw a party when a family member is sick. I don't expect you to post this and I'll be shocked if you do. But you need to come down to earth a bit and develop a bit of sensitivity for those around you. In the overall scheme of things, the Olympics are irrelevant. Enjoy the rest of your holiday.
